National Cancer Survivors Day
National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration of life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world on the first Sunday of June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community. It is a day for everyone, whether you are a cancer survivor, a family member, friend, or medical professional. It is also a day to draw attention to the ongoing challenges of cancer survivorship in order to promote more resources, research, and survivor-friendly legislation to improve cancer survivors' quality of life.

2nd Annual National Cancer Survivors Day
Cancer Community Clubhouse hosted their 2nd Annual National Cancer Survivors Day celebration on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 at the Reno Elks Lodge. We stand by the fighters, admire the survivors, and honor the taken. This was a special day of acknowledgment and remembrance for our Northern Nevada community, and also an opportunity to support CCC's continuance of local cancer survivorship programs. This free community event was full of music, activities, crafts, Bingo, raffles, drinks, prizes & more! We appreciate the Northern Nevada Community coming out to support people affected by cancer.
