Our Mission is to empower the lives of people affected by cancer in northern Nevada through connection, education, hope, and healing from diagnosis through survivorship.
Cancer Community Clubhouse
Although every person's cancer experience is unique, CCC recognizes the challenge for survivors and their loved ones in returning to everyday life while adjusting to the physical and emotional effects of treatment. That's where we come in! CCC is a beacon of light through the cancer tunnel. Serving our participants throughout rural & northern Nevada, CCC offers programs focused on key aspects of survivorship: social and emotional support, healthy living, and education. CCC aims to create a space of connection for cancer patients and survivors of all ages and their loved ones through free community-based and volunteer-supported services in northern Nevada. Our programs are intended to improve quality of life, create personal connections, and empower the lives of our participants to reclaim joy and purpose at any stage of their cancer journey, and are not meant as a replacement for medical care. CCC offers a robust calendar of social and educational activities including connection and wellness groups, mindful living events, journaling workshops, art and creativity events, participant socials, lunch and learns, and other activities of interest to our participants.
CCC participation is free of charge to anyone living in northern Nevada who has been affected by any cancer in any way at any time. This includes newly diagnosed, in treatment, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones. To become a participant, please fill out the "Become a Participant" form and RSVP to whatever interests you on the calendar. We look forward to meeting you!
CCC relies largely on community donors & volunteer support. If you are a cancer survivorship advocate and would like to support our organization via donation, volunteerism, or fundraising, please reach out to Natalie at 940-231-6209, or fill out the "Contact Us" form and we will be in touch. Thank you for your generous support of these important survivorship initiatives!

Strategic Organizational Priorities (Why we fundraise!)
1) Obtain a space for a community-based survivorship center. CCC will create a confidential and homelike cancer community center where any survivor or loved one can come for ongoing and accessible support. This will allow our cancer community to have its own, private space to hold current programs and to expand programs, giving survivors easier access to support when they need it most.
2) Hire a full-time Director. With a full-time Director, CCC will be able to increase capacity of survivors served, and extend our programs to fit each cohort more directly (caregivers, family members, mental health, specific cancers, etc.)
3) Increase reach. CCC is a young organization and not all survivors know that this incredible resource exists in our community. We will continue outreach at cancer centers, community functions, and through specific survivor outreach channels.
